The 2022 Korean Cultural Festival K Parade event sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was held on October 8th under the supervision of the International Cultural Exchange Promotion Agency (KOFICE).

Under the theme of "Connecting the World" with The K-Culture, a parade procession representing various cultures from Jongno 5-ga to Gwanghwamun was held.

The World Children's Taekwondo Union (CTU) was invited as a special performance team.

In this regard, the Union organized a demonstration group of 60 people aged 7 to 12 under the guidance of Chairman Roh Hyeong-jun, and demonstrated various poomsae in the streets, capturing the attention of the spectators who filled the streets.

In particular, it is analyzed that the same uniforms and shoes were produced by the World Children's Taekwondo Union and contributed to enhancing the brand value of the Union by demonstrating the spirit and skills of children's Taekwondo, which is highlighted as a global cultural content.

On the other hand, this outdoor event is being evaluated as being very meaningful in that the street parade event has not been held in recent years due to the COVID-19 crisis.

In response, Kim Han-jun, Vice President of the World Children's Taekwondo Union, said, "We plan to make efforts to promote the World Children's Taekwondo Union brand company-wide by exposing the contents of this children's Taekwondo street event to as many platforms as possible." Meanwhile, with this event as an opportunity, Roh Hyung-jun (Professor of Taekwondo Department at Nazareth University), chairman of the Union's technical review committee, said, "We will continue to research and develop with interest in developing children's taekwondo street performance contents."
