An actor you can trustworthy. Unmatched vocalization and charisma. Regardless of genre, I met the irreplaceable character actor Oh Man-seok. It comes back to us with a challenge that doesn't stop with creepy villain acting. 

Q1. It seems like an actor with excellent acting skills that cross between good and evil. Do you have any know-how in analyzing scripts?

- I don't think there's any know-how. Each work has a different color, so it seems to find a suitable acting. If it is know-how to try to make the characters in it stand out better, it may be know-how. (laughs) 

Q2. I was impressed by his passionate performance in "The Man in the Vineyard." Do you have any plans to try Rocco again?

- Of course, I want to try it only if I have a chance. But I'm not sure if I'll get a chance because I play a lot of villains these days. (Laughter) The more various genres are given, the more consistent I want to challenge, so I'm waiting for the opportunity to come.  

Q3. Whenever you appear in a work, you seem to be an unrivaled scene stealer. Did you know that many clips were released when box office hits like "Youth of May" and "Crash Landing on You" were on air?  

- I'm not good at SNS, so I've never actually seen anything like that. Listening to you makes me curious. I should look it up now. (laughs)

Q4. What will actor Oh Man-seok do in the future?

- He recently directed the play 'true west' and is currently giving a lecture at a university. He is also filming a drama for his next film. If it's my future plan, I'm going to appear in a play. Please show a lot of interest. (laughs)

Q5. Out of all the characters you've played so far, which character is most attached to or similar to your real personality?

- The role of Jang Taek-ki in "The Man in the Vineyard" seems to have been the most similar, as well as his real personality and dark appearance. My favorite role is Headwick in the musical Headwick. He works hard on all the works, but he prepared for a particularly long time, and he was impressed by the work he wanted to put on one side of his mind. 

Q6. actor is a job that expresses emotions. When something bad happens on the day of the shoot, how do you get through acting? 

- Personal feelings don't seem to be affected when acting. No matter what happens, I often switch to acting mode as soon as I enter the set. (laughs) 
 
Q7. I think I like baseball. Do you relieve stress by exercising? 

- Yes, I like sports. I like baseball and enjoy playing soccer or golf. I think I like ball games in general. As I enjoy exercising, naturally enjoying hobbies seems to relieve my stress.

Q8. When was the happiest moment in your acting career?

- I'm always grateful to have the opportunity to continue working as an actor. An actor is basically a job that requires choice, so I'm happiest now that I can always work.

Q9. I hope the public remembers actor Oh Man-seok like this. Is there an image like that?

- I want to play various roles in various genres in the future. I want to be remembered as an actor who is not stingy about challenging. Rather than acting in the same genre every time, I think it would be best to be remembered as an actor with a wide spectrum without missing an opportunity.
