The Namsan-based World K-Pop Center (CEO Park Sung-jin) has taken a step forward to enter the Mongolian K-pop market.

Park Sung-jin, CEO of the World K-Pop Center, and his delegation (general director Noh Jung-joo, global business director Woo Hye-yeon) visited Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, on the 15th, and officially signed an MOU with UBS station in Ulaanbaatar, which was established shortly after Mongolia's reform and opening in 1990 and boasts a 31-year tradition.

Until now, the World K-Pop Center (WKC) has been steadily training K-pop trainers through local guidance and training in Korea in partnership with the local K-pop trainer training academy company (AIA: Oyanga, CEO of Asian Idol Academy) for Mongolian teenagers who are interested in K-pop.

After signing the three-way business agreement ceremony, Park Sung-jin, CEO of the World K-Pop Center, said, "We considered Mongolians' excellent artistic DNA and geographical location adjacent to Russia and CIS countries, and we plan to launch a 5-7 idol group of pure Mongolian Lady  by actively utilizing the existing local K-pop trainer education system base."

Meanwhile, as UBS is also interested in producing cultural contents, selecting new new singers, and developing artists to diversify its business, ," we want to create a Mongolian female idol group (Blink1) through practical broadcast audition collaboration with WKC to create an idol group.We are willing to actively support and cooperate in audition production and promotion projects for the birth of a new idol group conducted by WKC, and to this end, we will actively cooperate by operating all capabilities to the fullest at the level of UBS broadcasters. In addition, for the development of Mongolia's culture, we created the first globally recognized female idol group in Mongolia so that they can work internationally.

The two companies plan to form a TF team in a short period of time and launch Mongolia Blink1 ( meaning charmingly twinkling eyes) in the first half of next year through detailed division of roles of each (three organizations).

Meanwhile, Park Sung-jin, CEO of the World K-Pop Center, served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Mongolia to promote cultural and artistic exchanges between Korea and Mongolia and to promote various entertainment cooperation in the future, and separately paid a visit to Nayamaagiin Enkhbold, chairman of the National Development Committee, to exchange various opinions, and requested special support and attention for the successful entry of the World K-Pop Center into Mongolia.
