CEO of Nabijoy, a sports athleisure brand that sponsored 'Miss Global 2022', which ended on the 11th, said, "I want to lead the sportswear industry for the public interest that grows together with global female leaders”.

Born and raised in Korea, but living as an American, Nabijoy CEO Joy Kim is known as an expert in the sports and fitness industry. After 20 years of running large-scale fitness centers and sports-related businesses in Korea, she immigrated to the United States about 10 years ago, and has devoted herself to public service projects to foster female rights and global female leaders.

She spent a restless time in Bali, Indonesia, where the final contest of 'Miss Global 2022' was held, training and judging participants. We are going through a process of change and challenge,” she said. “I expect all participants to develop into female leaders representing each of their countries.”

At the final stage of the 'Miss Global 2022' contest held at the Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia from the 8th to the 11th, 72 participants from around the world including the US, UK, France, China, Japan and the Philippines participated. It is a competition to determine the final winner through a pre-interview and runway productions such as traditional clothes, dresses, and sports leggings.

The organizing committee invited Joy Kim (Kim Geun-young), the president and general director of NabiJoy, to prepare a pre-educational program for directing the final runway, and invited her to be one of the judges, which further strengthened partnerships.

CEO Joy Kim said, "I decided to sponsor this contest because it is a global beauty contest where representatives from all over the world participate, but also because it is a contest designed to improve women's rights and increase cultural awareness of each country." With the philosophy of 'love all and growing together', I tried to give courage and hope to each participant."

The final winner of this year's crown went to Shane Quintana Tormes of the Philippines. She became the first woman from the Philippines to be crowned with a crown in the history of a global beauty pageant. Also at the coronation ceremony on the same day, an award ceremony was held for Jessica da Silva (UAE), the winner of 'Miss Global 2021', which was cut short due to the impact of Corona 19 last year.

Jessica da Silva said, "I was impressed by the way she (Shane Quintana Tormes) participated with a passionate attitude to do anything and always had a bright expression during training for the final runway of sports leggings. I hope that she will grow into a global leader without losing her sense of pride and courage”.

CEO Joy Kim added, "I hope that Nabijoy will become a brand that grows together with women from all over the world who work diligently in their respectful careers and have a positive impact on the people around them.
