Dear Taekwondo family of Asia,

my name is Moon Dae-sung

I am Olympic Taekwondo gold medalist from 2004 Athens Olympics

Today, through this video,

I would like to officially express my support for

 Mr. sang-jin Kim as your candidate

for the presidency of the Asian Taekwondo Union

I have known Mr. sang-jin Kim personally

for nearly 20 years Over the time,

I've seen the great passion

he has for taekwondo,

and his strong sense of responsibility,

and most importantly,

his consistency in turning words into real action

Mr. sang-jin Kim has made significant contribution

not only to the development of Korea Taekwondo,

but also to the growth of Taekwondo throughout Asia

He's a man of the principle,

someone who follows through on his promises

with a firm and steady commitment

The Asian Taekwondo Union is not about representing just one country

It's about representing and uniting all taekwondo families across Asia

That's why it requires the leader

with a broad vision, strong integrity,

and unwavering dedication to our sport

And I believe- Mr. sang-jin Kim

is the right person for this role

When I heard about this, his promise,

I felt the clear and practical vision

for the future of taekwondo

I believe others who care

about taekwondo will feel

the same sense of confidence

I felt by looking through his vision

The reason I'm standing here

today is because I have no doubts

that Mr. sang-jin Kim

is someone who can turn the vision into reality

That is why I offer him

my full support with both my name and honor

And like many of you, I will be watching

and supporting closely to make sure

his vision becomes a reality

over the next four years

Strong leadership also requires realistic financial planning

To bring out the best in ou-our athletes,

we must provide them

with a stable training environment

We also need to fully support coaches for them

to help their athletes reach their full potential

For all of this to happen,

the president of ATU must also have ability

to raise funds to ensure stable operations

Mr. sang-jin Kim has already proven his ability

As a former vice president

of the Asian Taekwondo Union,

he secure valuable sponsorships,

and also personally contributed significant amount

to support the union's stability and growth

This is the kind of leadership we need,

not someone who stay behind the desk,

but someone who takes action

And someone who work directly

to bring meaningful change

Mr. sang-jin Kim is the kind of leader,

and I ask all members

of the Asian Taekwondo family to support him,

just like I do With your help, Mr. sang-jin Kim

can improve athlete performance,

enhance coaching conditions

And build a strong union

And if Mr. sang-jin Kim is elected as a president,

I will stand by his side and work together
