K-pop performances presented to foreign military diplomatic corps in Korea to help defense cooperation

The World K-pop Center held another meaningful event in terms of public diplomacy.

On the 16th (Saturday), he was invited to the end-of-year end-of-year party of the foreign deplomatic delegation at the Gwanghwamun Four-Season Hotel, and presented an idol performance directly under the World K-Pop Center following a brief introduction to the World K-Pop Center and the future "UN (World Union) Strategy."

The military attache corps stationed in South Korea (military diplomats' group) currently are participated by 42 countries including Spain.

As such, it is emerging as a defense export powerhouse to the extent that it exceeds the world's fifth-largest along with Korea's national power growth, and defense cooperation with foreign forces is at an important time.

This is because the K defense industry has recently been on a sharp rise as it has emerged as a profitable export industry.

Defense industry exports have stagnated over the past decade at $2 billion to $3 billion, but have grown to a record $17.3 billion in 2022.

In particular, in July, it signed an export contract worth about $14.5 billion (about 19 trillion won) with Poland.

The World K-pop Center is considered the most traditional and authoritative global educational academy in Korea.

To this end, the World K-pop Center is emerging as a global K-pop-oriented educational institution along with audition programs through continuous research and development on K-pop and cooperation with private entertainment media groups in each country to foster local idols.

At the event, Park Sung-jin, CEO of the World K-Pop Center, said, "We have established a good friendship with the military diplomatic corps in Korea today. All of you who represent 42 countries (military) actively participate in K-POP promotion programs and "I would appreciate it if you could promote the World K-Pop Center widely," he said. "If I have a chance, I would like to officially invite the all of yours  to the World K-Pop Center in Namsan to show the reality as a master country of K-pop."

Meanwhile, on December 29, the World K-pop Center will actively promote the status of K-pop around the world through the "Click the Star in Seoul" event by inviting 5,000 mega influencers from around the world jointly with the Seoul Metropolitan Government (SBA).
