
The World Children Taekwondo Union (President Rhee Sang-gi) and the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Senior Taekwondo Association (Chairman Jeong Seon-jin) have started joint cooperation with the seniors Taekwondo group to revitalize the culture of Taekwondo enthusiasts in the elderly. This is through the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding to revitalize senior Taekwondo.
The WCTU said on the 7th, "We held an agreement ceremony at the secretariat of the Jeonbuk Senior Taekwondo Association in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province on the 6th, and signed a strategic agreement with the aim of expanding the base of meridians Poomsae for seniors and successful hosting of the "2025 Muju Children's Taekwondo Culture Festa."
Launched in 1996, the World Children Taekwondo Union is a non-profit organization that is spearheading research, development and dissemination of meridians and silver healing products with the aim of balanced growth of youth around the world, improving concentration and promoting harmony among families through taekwondo contents.
The World Children Taekwondo Union also holds the Children's Cup jointly with the European Taekwondo Federation in Germany every year.
Through this agreement, the two sides agreed to work together to promote the project to lower the meridians Poomsae, which was researched and developed by the WCTU. Co-organized preparation and cooperation for Taekwondo cultural events △ Operation of training programs to transfer the meridians Poomsae △ Promotion of national senior taekwondo competitions and induce participation in senior taekwondo teams.

The successful hosting of cultural events is a project that both sides have chosen. The WCTU and the association will hold a senior taekwondo competition (general competition Poomsae) during the "2025 Muju Children's Taekwondo Culture Festa" to be held in Muju County, North Jeolla Province on Sept. 13.
Through the event, the plan is to maximize synergy between each other and lay the foundation for expanding the base of senior sports.
Until the agreement was concluded, Choi Jae-kyun, executive vice president of the Jeonbuk Senior Taekwondo Association, who is known to have been struggling to distribute senior Taekwondo in the local community, was known to have played a major role. The association explains that Vice Chairman Choi was usually deeply interested in and interested in distributing the meridians' Poomsae.
Vice Chairman Choi's love of senior Taekwondo and leading by example have a reputation. The 74-year-old was previously the oldest participant in the 3rd Jeonju University Presidential Cup National Taekwondo Competition held on a national scale from the 1st to the 6th, beating out competitors who are more than 10 years apart.
Vice Chairman Choi Jae-kyun (maser) said, "The Taekwondo movements that almost everyone encountered as a child are showing resilience again even after the age of 60," adding, "We desperately need support from the government and local governments along with national participation for national taekwondo enhancement and senior health."
"Anti-aging is a very important era agenda in terms of preventive medicine and alternative medicine in the era of well-being and well-dying," said Rhee Sang-gi, president of the WCTU. "As senior Taekwondo is receiving great attention at the center, we will actively spread the meridians Poomsae nationwide along with the spread of children's brain Poomsae (also known as growth Poomsae)"
