On the afternoon of September 13, the general assembly of the European Taekwondo Union(President Mr. Pragalos Sakis) was held in Istanbul, Turkey.
The general assembly was attended by four elected vice presidents, four appointed vice presidents, 15 executive members of the European Taekwondo Union, and 20 presidents of Taekwondo Associations from each country belonging to the European Taekwondo Union.
Mr. Soo-nam Park, president of the World Children Taekwondo Union, attended the general assembly as honorary president of the European Taekwondo Union.
Founded in 1996, the World Children Taekwondo Union is a non-profit international organization that conducts research, development and dissemination of family poomsae for the purpose of promoting the health of youth Taekwondo practitioners around the world, emphasizing etiquette, observing social norms, and promoting harmony among Taekwondo families.
Since 1996, we have been holding the Children's Cup in Germany jointly with the European Taekwondo Union for 14 years. In addition, the 'World Children Taekwondo Culture Festival' has been held since 2015 in Korea and China. There are about 50 member countries, including Korea, China, Japan, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
