The 34th KBS Children's Song Festival, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Korean children's songs, was broadcasted as a special program on Children's Day. The festival kicked off with a spectacular performance by the Love Rock Performance Group and MC Lee Ha-yoon's opening acts "Children's Day Song" and "Singing Friends."

The Love Rock Performance Group, affiliated with the Korean Rhythmic Gymnastics Association, specializes in broadcasting and performing as a children's performance group, contributing to local development, the spread of domestic and international cultural arts, and global cultural exchange through various performance activities.

Kim Ji-youn, the representative of the Love Rock Performance Group, has been directing choreography and overall stage production for children's healthy cultural arts performances and education expansion as the dance director for KBS Children's Song Program for 24 years, with the belief that "Children are the prettiest when they are childlike."

The 34th KBS Children's Song Festival featured a total of 12 original children's songs, special stages by KBS announcers' families, congratulatory stages by musical actor Im Tae-kyung and singer Ali, and a medley of children's songs by the KBS Cheongju Choir, KBS Ulsan Choir, and Yangcheon-gu Silver Choir, presenting diverse and splendid performances.

This year's festival was planned and broadcasted with the aim of reviving Korean children's songs on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Korean children's songs and the fading of children's songs from memory. Over the years, the KBS Children's Song Festival has provided a stage for children to cultivate their dreams and hopes through songs, and it is hoped that it will continue to develop with much attention and love.
