Nice to meet you, Taekwondo fans. I'm Kwon Seong-dong, a member of the National Assembly from Gangneung who loves Taekwondo.

I sincerely congratulate the World Children Taekwondo Union(WCTU)holding an international symposium and a publication commemorative event.

In addition, I would like to express my gratitude for the hard work of President Park Soo-nam, President Kim Kook-joo, Vice President Rhee Sang-gi, and many executives and employees for providing a meaningful occasion.

The World Children Taekwondo Union has presented dreams and visions to children through its national flag Taekwondo. At the same time, it is striving for the globalization of Taekwondo in educational and cultural aspects.

The publication of the merdian poomsae is expected to provide an important turning point for the silver industry in the age of aging and promoting children's growth and development.

Every development and prosperity has a 'start.' Let's hope today's event will be the beginning.

The interest and support of everyone who attended here will greatly help spread the value of Taekwondo, the national flag of the Republic of Korea.

Starting with today's international symposium, I sincerely hope that the second Renaissance era of Taekwondo will be held by spurring the standardization and scientific development of the meridian poomsae
