The World Children Taekwondo Union (President Park Soo-nam) announced on the 22nd that it held a donation ceremony for the KPNP electronic equipment sets to present  Myanmar's Minister of Sports and Youth.

Prior to the donation ceremony, Rhee Sang-gi, vice president of the Uniion, proposed to hold the World Children's Taekwondo Cultural Festival in Yangon, Myanmar, in March 2025 in order to then Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of Myanmar and Chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee Minn Thein Zan (IOC member).

In response, Myanmar's Minister of Sports and Youth said, "We actively welcome the establishment of the World Children's Taekwondo Federation, widely known as an international non-governmental organization (NGO) in the field of children's Taekwondo and the experience of international children's taekwondo exchanges. The idea of combining education, culture, and tourism with the children's taekwondo competition as a basic platform is expected to be a very timely private-led international event considering the actual conditions."

At the donation ceremony, local instructor Lee Joon-seok (the Myanmar representative of the World Children's Taekwondo Union and a member of the World overseaKorean Taekwondo Federation), AMIT Co Chairman Lee Ho-myung, Shin Dong-yoon, CEO of AMIT Co (the former Secretary-General of the World Taekwondo Peace Service Foundation (TPC), was present.

The KPNP company's electronic checking  set, which was donated on the same day, is an IT electronic product developed by pure domestic engineers and is also emerging as an international Taekwondo brand.

In this regard, it is expected to be actively used in various domestic contests hosted by the Myanmar Taekwondo Association as an electronic equipment sets first donated by the  WCTU

Since its launch in 1996, the World Children Taekwondo Union(WCTU) has branches in more than 60 countries, including Korea, China, India, Japan, and the United Kingdom, along with its headquarters in Germany (Stuttgart) and Seoul.

It is preparing for the 3rd International Children's Taekwondo Cultural Festival in late April and the European Royal Cup Children's Taekwondo Cultural Festival sponsored by the Bulgarian royal family in October.
