On September 27, Ryu Hyun-mi, president of the Food Culture World Exchange Association, delivered a video congratulatory speech at the opening ceremony of the Korea Global Center held at Jinglonghui, a high-tech science and technology development zone in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China.
Ryu, who has been striving to exchange food culture with Chengdu since four years ago, is developing world Korean food culture convergence contents and Korean-Chinese start-up education programs in line with the era of convergence.

Regarding the opening of the Chengdu Korea Global Center, CEO Ryu said, "There is an endless possibility of strengthening trade, economy, and investment cooperation between the two countries," adding, "We expect it to help strengthen corporate and civic relations between the two countries."
Ryu also said, "The mind to understand food culture transcends neighbors and local countries, and we realize the importance of health and food," adding, "We hope to build on mutual understanding and vision for the development of food culture exchanges and tourism education."
